the studio's pickS

What are Jeanne Damas’ and the Studio’s favorite pieces from this festive collection? The ones you’ll want to party with until dawn, with faux-fur, lace, sparkles… Let us do the introductions.

a glitter disco dress

We wanted to create THE diva dress with inspirations from Jerry Hall and the Studio 54. This one is made to dance all night long, with its comfy and shimmery fabric and its insane open back. Jeanne Damas, who’s pregnant, loves to wear it: the stretch jersey highlights her bum and turns her into - as she says - “a living disco ball”!

A retro jacket

Last but not least, meet Kim: our faux-fur Astrakhan-inspired coat. We love its perfect cut right above the butt and its (faux) fur-lined collar and sleeves. Both very 50’s and very 90’s/00’s Kate Moss, at a party in London.

An explosive print

Carrie is one of our favorite skirts. Flowy but shapewear-like and inspired by Carrie Bradshaw and the 90’s. Here, it has a satin-like finish to shine bright in the night… In a gorgeous pink and red jacquard, a feminine and bold mix that Jeanne Damas loves. Add the Gégène cardigan (back in a cropped lurex version!) and stilettos or high boots.

A little black dress

The little black dress à la Rouje: here the vibes are very vintage with this irresistible textured jacquard, like shapewear. Bonus point for its very flattering square neck and its statement puffy sleeves. Essential - can be worn with high boots or Dr Martens alike, with black or sparkly tights and maybe a precious belt.

A lace blouse

The pieces of this collection were designed to be also worn by day: slip a bodysuit under this lacy blouse and come nightfall, a pretty bra is enough… or even nothing! With belted raw denim, it’s the kind of style we love at Rouje, very Parisian, very 70’s. Just add croco-like boots and a long coat. Or even a sheepskin jacket!
